new member here, the other forums don't seem to have much action. 2016 magnetic ST build, coming from a '13 non turbo fiesta and then went the vw tdi route for a while, ended up trading both in towards the ST. Not a lot of mods yet, short shift and bushings, rokblokz, bov for giggles, powered sub under the passenger seat. Hoping cobb will have accessport support for the '16 soon so I can start having some real fun.

Build plan:
accessport- most likely going to mess with some e30/40 maps
fmic in the spring- most likely levels for price or mishimoto depending on cost when it's all said and done
mbrp exhaust and some downpipe, probably a 2jr.
sparco terras because look at them.
debating a rear seat delete because they're pretty much pointless.

then just upgrading as parts wear/break. Hoping this community is more active.

Anyway, hi.

only picture I have of it clean. This was after one coat of blacklight and then v7. Recently clayed, 2 coats of blacklight, 1 coat of jetseal, spray waxed, then v7'd. it looks better but I haven't gotten around to cleaning and coating the wheels so I didn't take any pictures yet. The magnetic paint is nice, but there's a lot of orange peel that I'd like to smooth out once my detailing skills improve and I get more chips and scratches to warrant paint correction.

Welcome. I have noticed that the paint finish on the ST isn't mirror smooth but, as you say a bit 'orange peel' irregular. Let us know how you get on with smoothing it out.
