Hi all. Anybody know where the temp gauge gets it signal from on a mk6 fiesta. My gauge never goes over half way, yet my car boils because the fan is not coming in. The fan works flat out if you disconnect the coolant sensor (new sensor) but if you use the daig on check start it does not complete the obd 2 test the fan cuts in straight away but struggles to get going for about 3 seconds then message could not complete obd2 cycle. thoughts anybody ?. Thought maybe because temp gauge doesn't go all the way the ecu doesn't know to kick the fan in
